  • Why is it important to extrude longer commercial gutter lengths on the spot than to use shorter pieces in 10' or 20' lengths?

On-site extrusion offers a superior solution for commercial gutters compared to using prefabricated sections.  Seamless lengths eliminate the need for multiple joints, reducing the risk of leaks and weak points.  Additionally, gutters are custom-made to the exact dimensions of the building, ensuring a perfect fit and optimal water flow.

This method also boasts efficiency and cost-effectiveness.  Extruding longer lengths directly on-site minimizes material waste and streamlines installation, saving on labor costs. While the initial equipment investment might be higher, the long-term benefits outweigh the upfront cost, particularly for larger commercial projects.  Fewer joints translate to stronger structures, reducing maintenance needs and overall project costs.

  • What is the difference between residential and commercial gutters?

While both protect your property from water damage, residential and commercial gutters differ significantly. Residential gutters are smaller, crafted from lighter materials like aluminum or vinyl, and prioritize aesthetics to blend with your home's style. They handle runoff from a typical house and are often installed by homeowners or general contractors. In contrast, commercial gutters are heavy-duty. Made from sturdier materials like steel or copper, they tackle the intense water flow from large roofs and expansive commercial sites. Their focus is on pure functionality and require specialized contractors and equipment for installation.

  • What is the advantage of using aluminum for commercial gutters?

Lightweight and easy to install, aluminum is a champion for commercial gutters. It shrugs off corrosion, requiring minimal maintenance, and boasts a long lifespan, saving on replacements.  Furthermore, aluminum seamlessly integrates with leak-proof systems and offers a spectrum of colors for a touch of design flexibility.  The icing on the cake? It's eco-friendly, readily recycled at the end of its service.
